Hello,
I am using 1.2.1 on WIndows, fresh install. The client will not connect to the local daemon. The "Connection Manager" shows that the daemon is not running (red dot beside the entry), but Task Manager shows that it is, and netstat -an shows the port (58846) occupied in LISTENING mode. So the daemon appears to be running, and listening on the correct port.
I added a line in "auth" in %APPDATA%\deluge\auth which says "test:test:10", and restarted the daemon. Can't connect to the daemon using a new entry with UID "test" and Password "test". The line in Connection Manager shows that entry as unavailable for connection (red dot).
Please help!
Thank you.
ICMan.
HELP - Cannot connect from GTK UI to local daemon - Windows
Re: HELP - Cannot connect from GTK UI to local daemon - Windows
BTW, I have already searched through the forum, and have not found an answer which addressed my particular problem. (Of course, there may be something in here, but I couldn't find it.)
Also, BTW, the WebGUI has the same problem. I can connect to the WebGUI using a browser, but it's own connection manager shows the test@localhost:58846 and 127.0.0.1:58846 entries to be inaccessible.
Thanks in advance for whatever help you can give.
