1.1.9 wont start on vista x64

Post by Shikoru »

I installed deluge 1.1.9 under windows vista x64 and when I try to start the program it pops up the command windows then exits with nothing further. When i start the deluge.exe under /deluge-python it brings up the error the application has failed to start because libglade-2.0.0.dll was not found. I have tryed reinstalling and restarting and have also cleared the application config data. I have searched the forums but did not find an answer.

Make sure you installed gtk also... it is required.

Did you try 1.2.1 the latest version as of this writing?

When I installed it on windows I used the default settings witch included the gtk. The reason im using 1.1.9 over 1.2.1 is because I cant get the newer version to run under linux but it runs under windows for me.(keeps asking for libtorrent but cant get it to work)

it seems to me that you have the fix to your problem backwards, i.e. have you asked here for support getting 1.2.1 running on your linux system?

The only things that I could find relating to my problem with the linux was telling me that I needed libtorrent with boost.asio Cant figure it out. (debian 5)
