Hi,
I'm runing with Ubuntu 7.04 64 bits, and I've the same problem.
It's because deluge has been built with "libboost-data-time1.34, but the latest release for Ubuntu is 1.33.1
Developpers have been faster than Canonical :D

that's because 1.34 is in gutsy :\ it looks like it has several dependencies that it requires. We'll just have to wait for them to sort it out, otherwise, we'll have to wait for gutsy heh

However, on the download page, it is writen "Feisty".
I'll try to find an old deluge release, wich have been built with libboost1.33!

EDIT : It's ok, I've found an older release (0.5.2) here : http://download.deluge-torrent.org/inde ... sty/0.5.2/
and it works.

i still have 0.53RC2 installed, I've uploaded it to sendspace if it's any consolation:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/n32sdg
md5: 9c8fba86ec39716cd51d62e40679e4d0

It's working pretty well so far

I've had a problem installing, if the developer's could at least give a third-party repository to go to (like "deb http://[whatever] feisty main") that would be great cause I can't install 0.5.3 on Ubuntu Feisty because it can't find the libboost-date-time1.34.0 ...

yes, and the synaptic in the background shows libc6 as installed. so you need to give us a more detailed error message than that. try dpkg -i foo.deb and post everything that it gives you. also post cat /etc/issue
