Torrent creator - bugs and improvements

Half a year ago I posted a ticket listing serious bugs and (hopefully) improvements to Deluge's torrent creator. I'd like to help resolving this issues but I'm not a coder. So I just want to ask if there's a chance that anybody wil fix it.

It looks like it may be being worked on in 1.2 dev according to the status version that is listed. As far as progress or if it'll be included in 1.2, I don't know at this point.
