Move/Rename file and still seed?

I'm sorry if this is a silly question, but I'm new to the world of bit-torrents. I was wondering if it was possible to move or rename a file after downloading it, and still be able to seed. So far, every time I've tried, I go from Seeding to Downloading, and end up with a second copy of the file. I really want to seed my files and help other people out, but right now, I have a huge folder of downloads, with no organization, and I'd really like to change that. Is this not possible, or am I missing something?

yes it's possible but you have to do it through deluge (i.e. rename/move the files within deluge so it can keep track of the changes).
if you close deluge move/rename the file and then open deluge it won't know what happened.

Um, how exactly do I move/rename files within Deluge? I'm not seeing those options anywhere...

Move: right click on a torrent and select move storage.
Rename: just click on a file/folder in the files tab.
