I'm running Deluge on an Xserver ubuntu 9.04 and it used to work fine. All the sudden it won't start anymore. I hadn't made any changes before this happened, but I ubuntu after it broke. Deluge version is 1.1.6 when I try to run deluge this is what I get. Thanks.

I reinstalled deluge and it seems to be working again. now its checking all the files ughh....

still interested if anybody can tell me what the problem was.

I have experienced problems with startup since I installed 1.1.9. The Deluge window just grays as if Deluge has problems, the tray icon never shows and the process is 'inet_wait_for_connect'. This can sometimes also happen when Deluge has started successfully and run for a while. I have reinstalled Deluge without any success. OS: Ubuntu 9.04.

Any ideas how it can be fixed?

And u probably are seeing an empty window loading, if this is the problem please install boost 1.39 ( i believe u still use 1.38 or earlier). Hope this helps.

Yes, the startup is exactly as you described.

I tried to upgrade with 'sudo apt-get install libboost-dev', but that only gave me 1.34.1. I then downloaded and installed 1.39 from the project's website, but the problem isn't gone so I'm guessing I will have to test which boost is in use and switch to the right one or something like that.

Time to google some more I guess...

Erm... first uninstall 1.34 or whatever u have, then download 1.39.0 and do this. I can`t guarantee that with simple install u will do the job, but u have to try.

I believe Its corrupted config file and u shud have ./config/deluge removed and then start the app again. Or maybe u`ve crashed ur x then u shud delete some of the session files which are created in ur user folder.
