[Feature Request] "status" in command line

Hi,

first, thanks for this awesome torrent client !!

second, I am missing an overview feature in the command line mode, which shows all torrents with little detail, but overall speeds and space

now if I enter "info" foreach torrent I get a ~ 10 line output flooding the screen, but most of the time I want to get a overall glimpse at whats going on and only then a detailed info on a specific torrent.
I belive "info <hash>" already does only show one torrent detail, so my suggestion is to introduce a "status" or "sitrep" or "quickinfo" or whatever command to print more general information (such as the startpages of webui and clientui) and give some basic info (+ hash for detailed info If someone wants to) plus overall speeds and space info.
A second advantage would be that If you have many torrents queued your term wouldn't get this flooded as it is now.

(status could take subcommands to list all torrents and by default only active, etc...)

I hope my english is understandable :)

thx

This is what the consoleui looks like in 1.2.0-dev: http://imgur.com/tPp0O.png

Do you think it's still too verbose? I suppose I could probably reduce the number of lines by compacting it a bit more.

Oh

thats definitly better :) especially the status bar

is it always visible, or only in 'info' ?

No I don't think its too verbose, but you might broaden the info stuff a bit , since half of the terminal isn't used (if it isn't agains any current design decision)

Thanks for the update, didn't think the console ui gets much attention in the dev-process but I've been proven wrong :)

Yea, the status bar is always visible.
