Router: ASUS WL500 running DD-WRT v24-sp2
Deluge Client: 1.1.6
OS: Ubuntu 9.10
If Deluge starts with UPnP enabled it seems to set the port forward and then removes it. I discovered this by logging into the router through ssh and continually running "iptables -L | grep Loque"; Loque is my computer name. I already had a manual port forward set for deluge when deluge started. What happened was the original port forward disappeared and got replaced by the same port forward but at a different location in the list and then the port forward was removed entirely from iptables. Another port forward I had set in iptables for the same computer was left unchanged. This never happens if I turn off UPnP in Deluge.
What I don't get is that i never see a UPnP forward get set for my computer on my router and yet deluge seems to at least be affecting my port forwards through upnp.
So to sum it up I have disabled UPnP in deluge and manually added port forwards on my router for my computer but I would very much like to use UPnP in the future if/when this problem gets resolved.
PS. I have uploaded a wireshark capture of the traffic between my computer and the router during deluge startup.
upnp closes portforward but never opens one
Re: upnp closes portforward but never opens one
Where is the wireshark log?
Re: upnp closes portforward but never opens one
I am getting the same behaviour. Tested with 1.1.5 - 1.1.7 from the launchpad ppa ( when they got available ) on both ubuntu 8.10 and 9.04 . I am using a WRT54GL router with dd-wrt ( using various dd-wrt SVN versions ). I have also tested it against an ubuntu server with iptables and linux-igd ( upnp daemon ). Deluge adds his ports and then removes them immediatly. If you want i can try and dump the packets if they are going to be useful to you.
