1.1.2 crash and its consequences

Post by lvm »

Computer was shut down without stopping deluge first. When restarted deluge started checking all torrents, but did it much quicker than normal recheck, in the middle of this process it crashed: deluged[8181]: segfault at 0 rip 7fe69008aa1a rsp 41422350 error 4. When restarted, it finished the process and operated normally, but one of the seeded torrents was moved to the 'move completed to' folder. Apart from the crash itself I see two issues here:

1. deluge does not handle shutdowns very well. Unless it is closed from the menu/by ^q it behaves weirdly afterwards
2. when seeded torrent [re]checking is complete it may move torrent to a 'move completed to' folder

1.1.2 ubuntu 8.04 64, classic mode. Sorry, no console output.

Run deluged in a debug and reproduce the segfault and get us a backtrace.
