Deluge 1.10 Ubuntu 8.0.4.1

When I have finished seeding and click Remove Torrent>Remove With Data, that is presumably asking if I want to delete the downloaded files and the .torrent file. But the .torrent file does not get deleted.

(I preferred the previous way of deleting files and torrents - which worked).

The torrent file in the state/ folder always get deleted on remove now.

Hi andar,

From Preferences, I chose a different path to save them in than the ~./config/deluge/state folder.

Unlike the previous version, they don't get deleted from my chosen location.

Right, that was a mistake in the 1.x that I didn't fix prior to the release. I have since rectified this in 1.1.x.. You are responsible for deleting any copies of the .torrent file you make. How it was in 1.x was a bit confusing and didn't serve much purpose.

With respect, I disagree. They were more accessible and hence easy to see the site source as some site's .torrent files work and others don't from other sites for the chosen download.
But ... that's only my opinion - thanks for replying

There is the possibility of adding other options, such as 'Delete .torrent copy on removal' or something along those lines.. I just don't want it to be cluttering up the removal dialog.

best solution, IMHO, would be able to choose in preferences what options are presented when removing a torrent.

i too missed this feature a lot as I also uses it for my torrenting. Hope it can be brought back into action.

Hmm ... if you could/would think about letting us having it back - great. Obviously I was not alone liking this nice feature.

Perhaps preferences could allow a tick box to be activated if we change the default location?? Or let the dialogue do as it says wherever we choose the path?
