Rename downloaded files

Hi,
It's very useful to be able to change the destination directory of a download "on the fly", but it would be great to be also able to rename downloaded files (as it can be done in http downloaders such as D4X)
Let me explain : after a file has been downloaded, I often rename it (I'm kinda maniac with filenames), but this can't be done until I stop seeding.
It would be great to be able to "map" a downloaded file to a name different to the one indicated in the torrent file.
I suspect this can't be done in Deluge, but needs to be done in one of the underlying libraries managing the bittorrent protocol.
In such a case, which library would be involved, so that I can post my request to their developer board.
Thanks,
GreenSkol.
