Request: proxy support

I'm using 1.0.7 and I don't see any proxy support. If I'm not mistaken, an older version of deluge allowed me to connect to trackers and/or peers through a proxy. As cool as that is, that's not exactly what I'm looking for.

I like the functionality of the web ui, but I like the gtk ui better. I use gtk to connect to my deluged at home, but I don't want to open the daemon to the world. If deluge's gtk ui had the option to connect to the daemon through a socks proxy then I could connect to the daemon from anywhere if I had a dynamic ssh tunnel set up.

I realize this isn't probably the most pressing issue being brought to developers, but if it's not a difficult thing to add then at least one user would appreciate it. :)

1.1 will have proxy support and authentication for the daemon. we'll do an RC relatively soon...or you could use svn

I appreciate the added proxy support, and I appreciate the password protection for the daemon, which means that I can now connect to my daemon remotely using the gtk interface.

...except from my work computer, which sits behind a Windows proxy/firewall. If the deluge gtk gui could be made to connect to a daemon through a socks proxy then I could use my ssh tunnel to hook up to the daemon from work. Please consider implementing this, O wise developers. Let me know if I can help with testing or so (I'm afraid I'm no programmer).
