downloading stops at 99%

I recently switched from Transmission to Deluge.
When downloading a series of torrents, each torrent stops downloading at 99% complete.
I can remove the torrent from Deluge, reload the .torrent file and the download completes successfully after checking the file.
One of the files shows "complete" within its details completion bar but not on the "status"

Ideas?
I'm on Ubuntu 8.04
Deluge 0.5.8.9

you need to be more specific. we cant help you if you dont give the exact error. odds are you need to `sudo dpkg --purge deluge-torrent-common deluge-torrent` and then reinstall our package
