router reboot due to Deluge

Hello everybody,

I was used to run Deluge without any problem with the following configuration.

- PC Kubuntu 7.10 (gutsy) with basic Netfilter config made by Firestarter (I only opened the ports I use in the Inbound Policy)
connected with RJ45 to
- cable modem

Then I purchased a new router, which is the ZyXEL NBG-460N, and I installed it between the PC and the modem, with RJ45 ethernet wiring.
edit : I installed the latest available firmware in my router

I configured my router:
firewall ON
Bandwith mngmt OFF
NAT ON (ports forwarded on my PC IP adress)
uPnP OFF
WiFi OFF

But with this config, Deluge make my router reboot ~10-20 sec after the program is launched. I didn't change any parameter in Deluge !
I tried to remove any firewall I have (netfilter + router), but the problem remains.
Still without any firewall, I tried Ktorrent v2.2.1 and everything is fine...

Does anybody have an idea of what is happening here ?

Thanks for Deluge and for the help

you need to limit your connections and limits. cheap routers tend to crap out if you dont. start with this and alter as needed http://deluge-torrent.org/faq.php#6n57

One more detail : I don't have any torrent loaded in Deluge when I launch it.

But thanks, I will try your values.

I think I was good with my values ; I have a 5000/500 cable connection

- max connections = 170
- max download speed = 600
- max upload speed = 52
- max connection attempts/sec = 20
- max half-open connections = 12
