Deluge 0.9 and 1.0

Those 2 versions are giving me slow response. I mean, it lags for a while over here and there.
0.5 version doesn't lag a bit at all. Do I need any extra installation? Like java or whatsoever?

Older versions of 0.9 and possibly the first few 1.0 versions had a problem with assuming localhost in the daemon, causing like an overall lag in the UI. It should be fixed in the latest version, or the last few latest versions...

What are you suggesting? 1.0.5 still lags a bit for my pc. How to I solve it? Download Phyton or GTK+?
