Explanation needed on Sharing Limits Settings

I'm probably just ignorant about the workings of BitTorrent but it
seems to me that there is a duplication of options in the
Preferences->Queue dialog.
I'm specifically talking about the "Seeding" section, where it says
"Share Ratio Limit: " and I can enter a seeding ratio limit, but where
it also says "Stop seeding when share ratio reaches: " and I can set a
secondary ratio value. I thought that "Share Ratio Limit" would indeed
stop the seeding if the ratio was reached, just as I assumed it would for
Seed Time Ratio and Seed Time(?)!
If the three settings above the "Stop seeding when share ratio
reaches" setting don't stop seeding the torrent when the limits are
reached, then what do those settings do when the limits are reached?
Thanks sincerely for any help,
Victor
