Hi:

I got a 12Mbit connection and i usually download torrents from a private tracker witch is extremely fast.
I've been using deluge from some months from now because my ISP (Netcabo) is throttling download speeds, and i've managed do bypass them using deluge and it's encryption.
I don't remember exactly but since version 0.5.8 encryption stooped working.

I have the inbound and outbound settings to forced, in level Full stream and encrypt the entire stream, but no luck... my download speed it's only 40kb

Any help will be appreciated

Speaking of that, is there any way to check and see if encryption is working or not?

you being throttled doesnt mean encryption stopped working...just that your isp wised up.

sure. use wireshark or something similar to sniff the traffic

im having the same problem since .5.8.1. Im using .5.8.2 now and the problem continues. Ever since, my dl speed would max only up to 10KB/s. Before it could reach to 200. It never happen before. Lots of swarming seeders and peers and none connected.

you being throttled doesnt mean encryption stopped working...just that your isp wised up.

Sorry my bad... i though encryption would solve the problem of being throttled... i'll check on wireshark and post my results here

I have the same ISP (netcabo). And the problem is indeed not the program nor the encryption.

Our ISP is raising the access speeds to his clients, and what happens when you raise speeds when the general network can't handle? The speeds go down, and the P2P programs are affected the most. So, nothing can be done here by the client side, we will just have to wait until things get a little better or simply change ISP

At least encryption seems to be A-OK on this side.

Encryptation is not working, or somethings wrong with this release of deluge, i used a torrent in deluge and it was downloading like 30/40kbs, sometimes it goes to 100kbs, but not further, then, i used uTorrent 1.8beta, and the torrent was downloading @ 2.0mbps, my isp is Netcabo too.

I have the same problem too since version 0.5.8.1.

No offence but I dont think your posts will gather much attention from the Deluge developers when you carelessly post unspecific problems full of spelling errors.
