Hi!

Just switched to deluge because of the core, gui separation. Makes it possible for me to use my laptop as normally but have all my downloads go to the server. So far iv'e only been using it locally but i would really like to be able to do the same thing from public networks.
So how do i go about setting up a safe way to use gtk client on my laptop to connect to the deluged running on the server? Heard about ssh tunneling is it the only option?
A nifty feature would be a user system on the delugedaemon requirering a user to log in to be able to connect with the daemon.

Let me hear your suggestions!

The GTK UI is intended for use on a private network, however the Web UI is intended for use on a public network.
Using a SSH tunnel is more like a hack

Is there any particular reason you don't want to use the Web UI?

Well i guess i'm lazy, i want it to act as i use a local torrent client. Just click the link and start the download.
