My half open connections has been set at 6, no crashes lately. I also keep 4 upload slots, maximum connections 200, simultaneous torrents 8. No need to have it set any higher that I can tell.

I'm running Vista 64 on an HP labtop with dual hard drives & deluge causes a ntfs.sys bluescreen: PAGE FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA every time. Been doing this same thing since before 0.5.8.0 & 0.5.8.5 doesn't help. Guess I'm still stuck with BitComet

Sounds like a driver problem. Is it a RAID or is it just 2 physical drives?

Hi all

this is my first message here. I' ve recently discovered Deluge and its greater download speeds, greater than the obtained with the previous torrent software i used (Bitcomet). I am always receiving the C++ error message. I cannot find a solution to the problem, and i'd like to try the IPv6 solution, but i have to agree that i'm a complete noob in that. Where can i download the IPv6 stack for windows xp and how do i have to install it to make it work?

Thx in advance for the reply and sorry for my bad english

Hi,

I have found Deluge 0,5,8,7 to be the most stable edition of it's kind. All the others crash while hash checking even the latest and greatest 0,5,8,9 so I'm using 0,5,8,7. There's gotta be something with the ..8,7 that makes it stable for me at least.
I always use the following configuration half open connections:50 max connections 400 and no download limits no, no limits for simultaneous torrents either.

P.S. Please add a queue system :geek:

hi, i've recently found deluge torrents client and switched over from flashget. when the windows port kep crashing, i decided to go through the forum to see if other xp users were crashing for similar reasons. But no one has mentioned it yet, so i registered to post how mine crashes.

For my pc, the crash has something to do with the mouse or the machine being idle. I installed deluge on my work and home pc. I use the work pc the whole day so it rarely stays idle for more than 1 hour. And it never crashes while i'm using the pc. Same with home, when i get home, i use the pc from 9~12 and it doesn't crash while i use it. But when the computer goes idle for a long time, like when i leave home for work, when i come back, the home pc's deluge shows crash error. and same with work, when i leave my work pc on to finish a download.

to test this out, one day, i left rainbow six vegas 2 running in the back ground. And deluge didn't crash. So the crashing for me seems to have something to do with the mouse or something going idle. Hope this helps track down the crash bugs because deluge so far is a better organized client for me.

Thx for the input good1. It sounds like the system would go on standby or turn off HDDs somehow while deluge is running and that causes the crash  I'm gonna try it.
