We're trying to keep it simple with the classic mode.
classic mode could be improved, the goal for classic mode is simplicity.

but the added daemon does add lots of possibilities.
*headless server / remote Gtk-ui.
*webui is far more stable.
*sadrul is making a cool console ui : http://pidgin.im/~sadrul/ss/apps.html
dev: webui, core, labels | irc:vonck7 |

Migration script failed for me. I think because one torrent filename has '%'.

"No incomming connections"

Port test from preferences on deluge.org: port closed

Ubuntu Hardy 32bit.

0.5.9.3 worked fine...

Good work anyway... :-)

Update for RC2 under Vista...

Things that are fixed/working.
1. The system tray icon is there now.
2. The tray menu scrolling bug is finally fixed!
3. File progress percentage is corrected.
4. Changing priority works now.
5. Auto add folder works for already downloaded torrents. The original files are deleted though, maybe it has to do that or else it would keep trying to add it...? What if it was pointed to the torrent file copy location though, would it cause some sort of continuous loop or crash it somehow? Maybe it should have a check for if it is an already added torrent then leave it.

Things that are still not working.
1. Open folder/open file not working.
2. Torrent files not associated with Deluge to open, still have to use the add torrent dialogue.
3. Overall slow response, scrolling through files list most noticeable.
4. Torrents in the list or files have to be clicked twice, once to highlight then right-click to open the menu. Otherwise it points to the previously highlighted one.
5. Torrent comments? Most other clients list the torrent comments, been missing them in Deluge... not that I'd miss much but it would be nice. (In the details tab probably)
6. 0.5 used to show peers completion % on torrents.

2. This is slated to be added in 1.1.0 (according to andar and markybob). Only bugs are going to be fixed until 1.0 is released.

6. This was removed. Again, according to the devs, it's not worth the overhead so it was removed. I personally think it should be added back, but they said "Never", so meh...I'll stop bitching.

Huh? Why would we wait till 1.1.0 to fix the bug? It's more of a packaging issue then anything..

has anyone started porting FlexRSS?
Someone was working on it, but they pretty much disappeared, so it currently needs a maintainer.. My next project is to get the Blocklist plugin working properly.
I've started looking at it, and I'm going to give it a go when I have some free time (probably later this week)

There's over 4000 lines of code in the FlexRSS plugin (a lot of that is feedparser, though, but still over 1000 for the plugin itself.) so it might take a little while.

Failed for me, too. I don't have any torrents with '%', but do have some with other weird characters in their names (registered trademark symbol, '#', etc.).

that would be awesome.
I would be happy to help especially if it meant we could add some functionality when porting (such as global preferences and automatic renaming).
that reminds me does 0.9.02 include the latest libtorrent (which supports renaming files)?

May I suggest to put back in the welcome wizard back from 0.5.x in which you set up you upload speed and so.... and to include some dropdown list of upload speeds within the bandwidth category under preferences dialog, some kind of presets for the bandwidth settings...

May I also congratulate you for the new queue system, is much greater now :)

Great work :D :D :D :D
