I have to ask though, how have you confirmed that the files aren't being downloaded via your proxy server in Deluge? As far as I know, Deluge has no feature to report your IP address when downloading. I'm curious because I too would like to confirm whether I'm connected via my proxy server.

You mentioned ipleak.net but that's only good if you're surfing that website with your proxy server. Can you provide some guidance/feedback on this?

P.S - I'm able to add the magnet torrent file to Deluge but it reports "Error" when I look at the status where it normally shows IP address. When I'm not connected to the proxy server, it shows my real IP address. What sucks is I really can't confirm this though because "error" is not the same thing as showing me my proxy server's iP address :)

As I've said in previous posts jag, I've tested the exact same proxy settings with the Deluge Windows client and everything is routed correctly.

To confirm - Deluge Windows Client + Proxy = PROXY IP on IPLEAK.NET.
Deluge QNAP Client + Proxy = REAL IP on IPLEAK.NET.
----------------------------------------------------
Cas if this helps - I have checked the config file of Deluge on the QNAP and have confirmed that proxy settings are indeed applying correctly, so the issue must be something else.
Do you think I should try removing rblibtorrent and install just "libtorrent" ?

He is the repository with all packages for QNAPWARE (Entware port) - http://qnapware.zyxmon.org/binaries-x86/Packages.html

Did you put anything in the interface box? Can you try only setting one of the proxy options (the rest are redundant with lt 1.0)?

rblibtorrent package is the correct libtorrent the only different is that Deluge on Windows (if using 1.3.12) has a newer version: 1.0.6.

I am imagine you would need to cross-compile libtorrent for your qnap if you wanted to test the latest libtorrent version.

I've applied the proxy to only one box now, the rest are on "None".

I have no idea how to compile it for the QNAP, I'm not even sure that's the issue, any way to confirm?

Any way I could download the equivalent Windows version of Libtorrent to test if the proxy is not working on Windows?

This has been resolved as per: https://github.com/Entware-ng/Entware-ng/issues/28

Issue was in relation to old libtorrent - proxy works perfect now - thanks all!
