I see the point of your argument. Nevertheless, great work of the deluge team for reacting so fast now.
So after everything went out well I'm rather happy that wcd and waffles had deluge <1.2.0 banned because it helped to push development in the right direction and improve the client.

I use Intrepid, does that mean I cannot install 1.2.1? I see that only 1.2.0 is listed under intrepid. I even tried the jaunty and karmic ppa's in sources.list, but the just could not be installed due to "broken packages".

I tried compiling from source all morning but I have run into a wall trying to install boost. I'm trying to find the easiest solution here.

Looks like I can't... 256MB of RAM isn't enough to run do-release-upgrade, apparently.

Well, this blows.

I upgraded to 1.2.1 and the tracker still says "waffles.fm: Error: Deluge is no longer allowed or not yet approved".
Has it even been fixed yet?

I've stumble on the Boost problem as well when trying to build it, as I'm not a developer myself, sorry I can't help you.

Ask your tracker admins.

I cant install the latest release either. The new version of libtorrent will not compile it needs some boost dependency. I am using ubuntu 9.10

edit: i installed from the ppa, i had to disable the getdeb.net ppa i also had though in order for it to work.
