rc2 seems to forget some gui settings between restarts, for example what columns i want and which order. this is with a brand new ~./config/deluge

Clear bug: Deluge shows connecting, even it should show downloading. I have downloaded already 5.5% and I have 10 connected sources and I'm currently downloading 15KiB/s.

For some reason percentage is missing and status is connecting.

Strange...

Unfortunately I also encountered this old friend: "libtorrent::invalid_handle".

About debugging I don't do IRC anymore. I quitted ircing ten years a go. It was too addictive drug to handle.

Platform: ubuntu 7.10 gg 64 bit

Don't get upset. I wrote in "0.5.6.96 Won't start" thread that deleting stuff under config solved the problem.

I didn't back it up, because I didn't know if it would help. But if I re-encounter that problem. I'll take copy of everything before trying to fix anything. Because now I know it's important for debugging. I also were expecting it kind of being self caused, when I were trying to create new torrents.

I also had another problem. But I guess it's party my fault, but still error messages were quite confusing.

I don't usually report anything as bug, before I have confirmed it is a bug. And not due misconfiguration or something like that. I have been working in software testing for ten years. And telling something is broken, without being sure isn't my style. I just let you know that I had that problem.

I think it might have had something to do that I had created torrent and removed data without getting rid of that torrent part properly. So state file might have had reference to file that wasn't there anymore. This is just my guess, without knowing anything in detail. I also wish that someone else could confirm this problem.

I also have a lengthty self discussion about one possible problem. But I couldn't confirm it either, with my current knowledge of Ubuntu and Gnome and netmon. But it sure looks like being a problem. Yet again, without better knowledge.

P.S. I love advanced progress bar. It's familiar from uTorrent and eMule.

Works great, but how must the new bar be interpreted? What do the white / deep blue bits and the shades inbetween stand for?

Thanks :D

the bar represents the file(s) you are downloading: the deep blue bits represent fully downloaded pieces while the lighter shades of blue indicate partially downloaded pieces. white represents pieces that haven't been downloaded at all yet. You'll also notice a small bar at the top of the progress bar which actually shows how much of the file(s) you've downloaded.
