Hm, have you tried maximum upload set to -1.0? I have 500kb up (max). But all is very good when Deluge have max upload set to -1.0. Try it and see how it goes.

Try setting maximum connections, say 200 instead of -1.
Also a good idea to set maximum half-open connections and connection attempts per second, mine for example is set at 4 maybe somewhat conservative but it works fine for me.

yes, I have a cablemodem with Cox Cable. I have 12 Mbps downstream and 1 Mbps upstream. 1024/8=124k that's why i set my max upload in deluge to 90k which is 75% of my total upstream. setting it my upload to 100% of my total bandwidth will hurt my overall speed plus make my internet completely unusable.

johnnyg I'm sad to say that Deluge once again reports my open ports as closed. Currently using Deluge 1.0.0. A single port is specified in Deluge. The same port is open on my modem/router. As mentioned before I've been doing torrents for some years now and I know my way around port forwarding. So this is not the problem. Suddenly yesterday Deluge (and my favorite sites) said the port specified was open even though I hadn't done anything. Yay! Felt like early Christmas. And didn't have to visit the help forum.

But; Had to restart my machine today. And once again Deluge and my favorite sites reports the port as closed. My IP is the same as yesterday. I have dynamic IP from my provider. But I have always checked that my torrent clients port have the correct IP. This have never been a problem before Deluge. The problem has gone from Deluge says yay, torrent sites says nay? to Deluge and my favorite sites telling me the port is closed. The port is open in the router/modem. Nothing visible has changed. What is happening? This is gonna get me booted from my favorite sites And I really would like to continue to use Deluge since I really feel this is the best choice out there. How can I solve this?

what does http://www.canyouseeme.org/ say?

what port are you using?
It could be that your ISP is blocking that port, try choosing a different port (a high port number is less likely to get blocked) and see if that gets blocked too.

I have been trying to change ports. All above 49000. But it doesn'thelp at all. canyouseeme says: Success: I can see your service on 82.***.***.* on port (49300)
Your ISP is not blocking port 49300

And just now writing this it happened again. Deluge now says:
TCP port 49300 open on 82.***.***.*
Yay!

But all my sites are still not reporting me as connectible for some odd reason. Some are even telling me that some torrents are connectible and some are not. This is really strange

just now tried to close Deluge and reopen it. Now checking the port Deluge says the port is closed. And all my sites tell me I'm not connectible canyouseeme still tells me: Success: I can see your service on ********* on port (49300)

So when it tell me success: your ISP is not blocking port 49300 does this mean the port is open or not. Deluge and all my main sites still tells me the port is closed. But I have forwarded the port correctly. Is there a setting that I have to check or uncheck in Deluge or......?

Hi guys,

most trackers are slow in updating the newest peer-whereabouts. Wait 20-30 minutes without a restart or reboot and just monitor the tracker from time to time.

Another possibility would be a buggy router firmware - try to get a newer. When you say this problem occured before you used delgue for the first time, it seems like it has not much to do with the client you use. But maybe I am wrong...

if canyouseeme.org says it's open, then it's open; deluge should say the same thing as well (using the test active port button - you may still get no incoming connections even when the port is open)., if it doesn't check that the ip on canyouseeme.org and deluge's test active port are the same.

like DelugeFanBoi said, wait a bit and see if your private tracker acknowledges that it's open.
