Im glad you wer able to do that, because when I went back into synaptic, there were no other versions there that I could even force. They vanished. They were they before 0.5.9.2, and now, puff, gone

Same here. To answer the question: Right-click on the desktop, select "Create Launcher", and use "deluge" in the "command" field. It should add the proper icon automatically.

creating the icon worked but when I clicked on the short cut it came up with this warning:
I have same problem when i install it on Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon) by .deb file i dont see it in menu :S when i type in terminal it launch my old version deluge 5.9.1. Also when i i try to install by terminal i get this message : Checked out revision 3249. i ll create a new topic as i need qick help
