I would like to recommend/request that as a matter of course, when you've found the solution to a problem you clearly found vexing - especially a solution which seemed to make you happy with the very simplicity of it - you explain (after, of course, sighing with relief and gratitude) how to apply this solution.
I don't know how to apply this python-twisted update (or is it a python-attrs?) update.
apt-get update and apt-get upgrade don't solve this.
