FWIW, 0.5.8.5 broke re-checking for me.

I use ubuntu gusty amd64. This problem happend to me about once every 3 or 4 times during starting. FWIW I always close deluge before shutown ubuntu.

I request adding a graceful shutdown button so that deluge will finish all that it needs and never have to recheck next time starting.

Yep, still broken for me too.

I am not removing my config files until I get confirmation that it will fix the problem and for now I will just live with it again.
