Deluge Forum

Maybe you can check if your config file ~/.config/deluge/ have the good owner ?
if you start deluge with sudo, the owner on config file maybe is wrong ?

Thanks I'll have a look when I get home, one thing I did try last night was to add a torrent from a remote machine & this did not work. I downloaded the torrent file & then chose add, went to browse for a file & nothing happened. I suppose this could also be a permission issue.
