So long awaited Deluge 1.1 is released. Viva developers!
But the feature mentioned in this thread still not available (or I just can't find it). Is it planned for next minor release?

That request was for changing file/dir names inside a torrent. It's also very important feature I'd waited and it works perfectly now. But there is also need to change torrent name/title sometimes (rather often for me actually). For example, now I have a torrent named "VIDEO_TS" in the list (which is a content of DVD) and can't rename it - very annoying...

As I understand, Deluge uses torrent's title which is written inside a .torrent file, so simple file renaming doesn't help. Probably there exists a tool to edit title inside a torrent-file, but I can't find any. Such a tool could be embedded in Deluge (as plugin for example). Or we can store a mapping of real titles to user provided ones and show the latter in the list... Anyway, it would be very nice to have an ability to rename torrents no matter how it's realized.

I really think that file renaming ability should be accompanied with a feature to rename torrents in the list. Formally speaking, we need this because a tree structure on disk have to map to the linear list of torrents.
For example, here it is my common usage case for downloading TV-series. I have ~/SuperSerial/{Season1,Season2} folders structure on disk. I download contents of the torrent "[mega-tracker.org]SuperSerial_-_Season_3.TVrip.torrent", rename it's root folder to "Season3" and place it to ~/SuperSerial/. Then the item in the torrents list get the new title "Season3", which is just meaningless without knowing parent folder(s). So I'm definitely would like to rename the list item to e.g. "SuperSerial - Season3".

This was implemented in Deluge 1.1.0 which was released on the 10th of January.
Both Deluge 1.1.9 and the 1.2 RCs have the ability to rename files/folders.

I'm not talking about renaming files/folders contained in the torrent. This has been already implemented and also a killer feature for me. But about changing torrent name in list inside Deluge UI as the topic says. This feature is a complement one to the ability for renaming files on disk. I've tried to describe it in the previous messages...
