Hello,
I'm using Deluge on a Ubuntu Intrepid installation in headless mode - deluged + web UI. Using an older version, from a few months ago, it worked fine.
I upgraded to this latest version (tried both the package and compiling from source, same results) and the daemon starts (BOTH deluged and deluge -u web start) but the web UI doesn't connect.
When I browse to it, it tells me "Not connected to a daemon" and offers me to connect to http://localhost:58846. But when I try to connect, it still doesn't connect. The config file does specify this port.
What can be the cause?
[RESOLVED]Upgraded to RC3 - Web UI doesn't connect to daemon
Re: Upgraded to RC3 - Web UI doesn't connect to daemon
run the daemon with debug logging enabled and paste the output. (see http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/wiki/Faq# ... ingenabled)
Re: Upgraded to RC3 - Web UI doesn't connect to daemon
Never mind, resolved it. It seems it got confused when restarting after upgrade, did not kill the old process so the web ui process couldn't connect.
Once I manually killed the old process and restarted deluge, it started working.
