Well, obviously Im a bit n00bish at the whole torrent thing, but I have noticed something kind of odd with my download/uploads - It appears that I am only seeding a file during its downloading and then after the download is complete, if it automatically starts seeding or I do a pause/ resume at a later time ( i have bandwith issues ) i may see that there are 3 peers but my seeding doesnt start....
is there a setting i need to change, or is this a design implementation?
I could give a screenshot of what im talking about - im running vista ultimate 32bit on a dell core2 duo 1.7ghz.
seeding question / confusion
Re: seeding question / confusion
It should automatically start seeding as long as your queuing options don't prevent it (eg, having too many active torrents or active seeds). You could see 3 peers in the swarm, but it doesn't necessarily mean you can connect to them or that they want data from you.dark5tar wrote:Well, obviously Im a bit n00bish at the whole torrent thing, but I have noticed something kind of odd with my download/uploads - It appears that I am only seeding a file during its downloading and then after the download is complete, if it automatically starts seeding or I do a pause/ resume at a later time ( i have bandwith issues ) i may see that there are 3 peers but my seeding doesnt start....
