deluged stop by itself

Post by abubin »

I successfully manage to compile deluge .09.rc9 on fedora 9.

Ran it a little and it seems stable. Then I left it overnight downloading 2 torrents. The next day, I found deluged is not running anymore. The deluge web is complaining cannot connected to any daemon. So, I had to start deluged again for it to work. Any way I could find out what causes deluged to stop by itself?

Also, I am sorry if this has been asked before but how do you stop deluged or deluge ui from running? The way I am doing now is kill the process but isn't there a better way? Wouldn't it cause problems if the process is killed like that?

my deluged stopped again. This is what I see in deluged.log

Code: Select all

[DEBUG ] 22:57:38 torrentmanager:716 on_alert_tracker_error
[DEBUG ] 22:57:38 torrentmanager:678 on_alert_tracker_announce
[DEBUG ] 22:58:14 alertmanager:98 tracker_error_alert: ãè¯æ¬ºå¸ç人ãThe.Blac$k.Swindler.JAP.DVDRip.XviD-人人影è§ww$BUG ] 22:58:14 alertmanager:98 tracker_announce_alert: ãè¯æ¬ºå¸ç人ãThe.B$lack.Swindler.JAP.DVDRip.XviD-人人影 $BUG ] 22:58:14 torrentmanager:716 on_alert_tracker_error
[DEBUG ] 22:58:14 torrentmanager:678 on_alert_tracker_announce
Seems to be related to asian unicode characters? But impossible since this file already been downloading for 2 days and it's already at 60%.

Memory leak? Cause I keep getting "[WARNING ] 00:01:09 pluginmanager:113 Status field tracker_host is not registered with the PluginManager."

After crashing, one of my file goes back to 0%. This problem must be fixed as priority. I think you can't call this a stable release if users get lost downloads due to crash.
