Re: 1.0.0_RC9 (0.9.09) Released
I went from AZ to deluge at .9.06 ( i think ) and havent looked back. I actually really havent had any issues with it in vista aside from just a few niggles here and there. I am going to get .9.09 tonight probably since I am still on .07 - Are these installers still requiring the old version of deluge to be uninstalled? Great work!

I would recommend uninstalling the old version before upgrading.dark5tar wrote:I went from AZ to deluge at .9.06 ( i think ) and havent looked back. works beautifully in Vista x64, awesome work guys!
however, the blocklist doesn't seem to import; it downloads fine but then just says "importing 0" (i.e. the number doesn't go up).
I'd be happy to include the log files, if someone tells me where they are stored
edit: ok it looks like just safepeer isn't importing emule ip works fine, weird one...
edit2: I also get an error when trying to open a torrent with deluge (using "C:\Program Files\Deluge\deluge.cmd" "%s").

Re: 1.0.0_RC9 (0.9.09) Released
I just reinstalled my home server which I use to run the Deluge daemon on and I noticed that when you try to install the package, there are usually some unmet dependencies. However, as I only want the daemon function (and the text-based UI to allow remote connections), is there a way to compile/install Deluge that lets my skip all the unnecessary stuff like notification-daemon and all the GTK libraries etc? I don't want unnecessary packages lying around on my computer...
Gonna try the new RC9 release now, let's hope it works better than RC8, had some terrible issues with setting folder priorities last time I tried (both in RC7 and 8).

I had a similar problem a while back with the blocklist not importing with the same message about Importing 0, I ended up having to go in and delete the config and temp file and then it worked. You seem to be correct about the safepeer not working, I too could not get it to import. I usually use the emule one anyway.
I didn't have any problems with opening a torrent file by double-click, or the add torrent button, or drag n drop... which also works, I almost forgot to mention.
And, for Vista at least, error reports should be in something like "C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Deluge" and note that AppData folder is hidden by default.
Ok, I just noticed another thing. From the main torrent list when I open folder on a torrent that has it's own files in a folder it only opens the main download directory, not the specific torrent folder. It works correct in the files tab though.
And, a bit more minor, if a torrent is just a single file it still shows open folder... unsure if that one is fixable though. Ideally I think it should say open file, since it is just a single file, instead of having to go to the files tab and click open.

It opens the 'save_path' .. If the torrent includes a folder, it will be in the save_path and you should be able to navigate to it.loki wrote:I had a similar problem a while back with the blocklist not importing with the same message about Importing 0, I ended up having to go in and delete the config and temp file and then it worked. Re: 1.0.0_RC1 (0.9.01) Released
This only happened to me upon first install. Every time I launch now, all is good. All settings are resumed.cbsim wrote:I noticed this version does not use back the settings from the previous version, and it tried to re-download all the completed files when I try to add in those torrents for seeding, is there any way to import the existing setting and status in this version?

Also having the torrent adding problem, just noticed it actually.
Only happened when I tried adding a torrent while it was minimized to the system tray, also happening by double-click the torrent anytime deluge is running. Slightly different error message.
