Feature request: more easily controlled file selection
Feature request: more easily controlled file selection
I see that when adding a torrent to be downloaded, one has to check/uncheck files one at a time. Surely, in a torrent with hunderds of files, of which you want only a few, that can be a problem. I think there should be a way to select multiple files and change their priority all at once.
Re: Feature request: more easily controlled file selection
Use Ctrl+Click and Shift+Click. It is standart hotkeys for multiply itmes selection in any OS and program.
Re: Feature request: more easily controlled file selection
I know. But after I select them, there is no way to unckeck all the checkboxes at once.
Re: Feature request: more easily controlled file selection
By the way, Frosty was right after all. Unchecking one of the boxes, while multiple files have been selected unchecks them all.
However, I still think there should be some other way, for example a right click menu, this is not at all intuitive.

Seems perfectly intuitive to me. I'd rather not introduce a menu since I don't see any real purpose to it.Nameless wrote:By the way, Frosty was right after all. Unchecking one of the boxes, while multiple files have been selected unchecks them all.

I do parital downloads a bunch with Deluge, and works out pretty great. This is the normal interface. So if you want to just download one file, click on the list, ctrl + a. Then set to do not download, then select the one, or few items to you want to download.
