bug in full allocation ?

Post by shreg »

Hello,

First of all thanks to the team for this great soft. The best torrent for gnome i've found so far.

But unfortunately I have a little problem with "full allocation".

First my settings :
ubunt 7.10
File system: ext3
deluge : 0.5.7.1
File allocation mode : is "full allocation"
A "little" torrent of 6.5Gb I want to download, with 58% is done.
I have at least 24% of each file.
1.2Gb free space left.

Second, The case :
When I check the size of the folder where i download (it is the only torrent in the folder) it is of 6.5 Gb
But Deluge tell me I need to have more than 2Gb of free space on my drive.

I do not understand why, because in the faq it is say that :
In full allocation, the entire space that a file needs is allocated as soon as one piece of that file is downloaded
So the space I have left should be more than enough since it si already fully allocated, no ?
