I'm a brand new user who would like to get Deluge to work for me; I love the fact that it's GPL-licensed, and it has all the features I'm looking for in a BT client. That being said, I'm having the following problem:
When I attempt to run Deluge, a command prompt window pops up, then quickly closes. Nothing else happens. Running the shortcut target inside a command window shows me that it's sending a command to c:\windows\startx.exe, but that command doesn't seem to do anything.
I'm running WinXP Pro x64 SP2 on a Athlon 64 X2 6400+ with 2 GB of RAM, a fresh install. Further details on system spec can be provided if necessary. Any idea on what my problem could be? Thanks in advance!
Attempt to run Deluge: Nothing happens
Re: Attempt to run Deluge: Nothing happens
The 64 bit problem is a known problem , wait for the next RC (this weekend).

Hello,
I have exactly the same problem on a WindowsXP machine.
What can I do to get Deluge running?
I was using the older versions before, but deinstalled everything.

Yes, I could do that, but is it certain that the new RCs do nor run on WinXP?

Even RC8 seems not to work. 0.5.9.3 seems more-or-less ok, I'm re-installing that.Timy_T wrote:Yes, I could do that, but is it certain that the new RCs do nor run on WinXP?
