Maximum number of torrents with 2.11/LT 2.08?

Hello

I am running Deluge 2.11 + LibTorrent 2.08 - potentially moving to 2.09. I have the LTConfig plugin enabled - I used the "high performance seed template - which seems to have a few limits preset

Active_limit 20000
Active_seeds 2000
Active_Tracker_limit 2000

I am not exactly sure the definition of each of these and what they actually limit. Anyway - I recently exceeded 2000 torrents (around 2200 now and growing).

There is also limits in Delue directly.

How many can Deluge handle on Windows? I have tweaked the limits above that were set at 2000 up to 3000 - and the same for the active torrents limits in the Deluge app queue tab. How much higher can I go? Is anyone running a similar config with 5000-10000 torrents or more?

Also any advice in configuring either Deluge or LTConfig as my torrent count grows would be appreciated.

Did anyone ever respond to this question in any other place? I am running a seedbox with over 2K torrent files now, but am unable to seed more than approximately 1500 without problems.

Any pointers to large scale configuration for deluged?

Use this plugin, and alter the active_trackers to whatever you want. It defaults to 1600 I believe, which is what you are seeing.

Thanks! I currently have the value set to 4000 and have 3120 torrents, and adding to that weekly. No issues.

theres no reason not to set it arbitrarily high and never worry again

Deluge can handle a good number of torrents on Windows, but it depends on your system specs.
