Deluge / Flexget ? Move Completed

Post by softair »

Not sure if this is related to previously reported problem about Hidden Files or not...

Running headless Deluge 1.3.11 and latest Flexget on Ubuntu 14.04. Get Flexget to download the main file only. This seems to set up deluge with the main file on its own in the relevant incomplete download directory, and everything else in another (subsidiary) directory.

On my system, when the torrent completes, EITHER the main file OR the subsidiary directory is moved to the target destination, and the torrent then enters the error state showing the left behind file/directory as non existent (in the target directory). I haven't as yet discovered what governs whether the main file or the sub-directory is successfully copied, perhaps what governs the item left behind.

I originally thought this might be a permissions problem on the target/destination, but then if it can move one item, surely it should be able to move the other!

Any thoughts?

TIA

OK, but in what way?

Deluge has done exactly what was asked of it, downloading/ignoring files, right up to the point where it decides it has finished all but moving the completed file(s). Then something odd happens. Are you saying that Deluge happily accepts the requests that flexget makes, even though there is a problem with carrying them out? It is Deluge that does the final moving, isn't it?

Or have I got it all wrong?

Here's hoping someone can enlighten me!
