Deluged stopps working

Post by h3llcat »

Hi guys,

I am currently running deluged and deluge-web on my raspberry pi as a headless download server.

After a few minutes of the daemon running the program shuts down. I ran the following to try and get more info on the situation.

Code: Select all

deluged -d [-L warning]
and got the following.

Code: Select all

Fatal Python error: GC object already tracked
Aborted
I am afraid that I am very new to Linux and don't know how I would go about solving this one. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Nearly 100 views and still nobody with any helpful suggestions. I am getting concerned that this is an unusual and unknown problem.

Short answer: no idea, likely python issue

Long answer: Instead of sitting back waiting for a response, you should search, provide more information, and test with latest versions of deluge and libtorrent

I installed Deluge on a Pi over the weekend. For some reason last night Deluge just kept stopping. I too was getting the error mentioned here. It's just gone bananas and today I'm getting all sorts of errors with the Deluge WebUI. I think it was the poor How-To-Geek article I followed. Going to format the card and start again with that Youtube tutorial.
