Deluge won't create torrents for remote path

My seedbox offers Deluge as its torrent client. Overall I am happy with it. I believe they run on a Linux platform.

Client: 1.3.6
Server: 1.3.6
libtorrent: 0.16.13.0

One major limitation is that it won't create torrents. Nothing happens. I found a similar thread but there was no resolution. The create torrent box comes up, and it seems like everything is fine - I enter the remote path, I add my trackers, and save but no torrent ever appears.

Sooo I have to switch over to ruTorrent just to create a torrent. Then back to Deluge.

Deluge is good at checking files and moving them so I stick with it.

Well it looks like my seedbox company upgraded Deluge and now it works, so I am happy about that. Good job on fixing it if it really was a bug.
