stack smashing detected

Hi,

I've recently moved to a new server and with it, a fresh new Debian 7.2 install and Deluge 1.3.6 - Now i'm not doing anything special, however shortly after Deluged is start, it crashes with

*** stack smashing detected ***: /usr/bin/python terminated

I've tried the debugging log, but there is no error when it crashes. Would anyone know what could be causing this? I've tried re-installing the server even, but that doesn't help either!
