Ubuntu: Launching Deluge from Unity Bypasses Password Lock

I just noticed this bug/issue with Deluge. I've placed a password setting on it so that when its running it requires an unlock to access the program when running in the system tray.
However, if while minimized/running in system tray (i.e. the Show Deluge option is unchecked), I launch Deluge from the Ubuntu Unity menu, the program will pop-up, bypassing the password lock.

I should add I'm running deluge 1.3.6-0ubuntu2 on Ubuntu 13.10.
