Windows client OK, Linux not (connection)

Hi,

i have a Raspberry PI with deluge server installed ( "install & forget" scenario - dedicated torrent box )
Than, I have two client computers - one Windows 8 machine, one Elementary linux OS.

From windows machine i can connect to Deluge without any problems. Works great.
From Elementary OS, however, i can't connect to it. It just stays in red status (in connection mananger).
A weird thing is, i also tried it from another computer, running Linux Mint. Didn't work either.

I can ping, ssh, access through web without any problems.

Any ideas?

Have just tried also to telnet to the port and it is OK.
So why doesn't it work?

Are you using the correct client versions of Deluge and the password in the connection manager is correct.

Hi,

as for the connection preferences i am pretty sure it is correct.

About version...
On Windows it says Client: 1.3.6 - Server: 1.3.3, On linux it is 1.3.6

Should i downgrade linux client? How?

What do you have in:

~/.config/deluge/deluged.log

if you mean on linux client - no such file.
if you mean on PI (server) - last update was 15th of July....so nothing in there, too

There is something you have overlooked as this is not an issue with Deluge itself

Hey,

i had to reinstall my windows 8 machine due to HD problems...
Anyway, now, i can't access the deluge server even from this new machine.

This is very weird to me.

Are you sure you have the correct config and auth file password...
