Force recheck starting torrent

Post by Alya »

I have looked around and couldn't found anything about this.

Basically, I was testing this software because I wanted to move on from utorrent and someone recommended it. I loaded part of my torrents into it (1800 or so) and I wasn't sure which I had already deleted, and I figured I could just recheck everything and remove everything at 0%, but instead I found that 1 torrent had started seeding, 2 started downloading, and on "active" I found dozens of files still on "pause" but for some reason were downloading at full speed.

So, what the hell is up with that? I would expect the torrents to keep paused after recheck, just in case the files were in a different folder than the one it checked, so you could check again in the correct folder. Instead I got my 0 MB downloaded on a tracker ruined, and my disk flooded with pre-allocated stuff I now have to find and delete.
