Prevent Parent Folder Creation?

Post by Lem »

Hello Delugians(?)

My name is Lem and it is nice to meet you. I currently have a box running Ubuntu 12.04 and I'm trying out Deluge for the first time as an add-on for our SABnzbd server. The setup we have with SABnzbd drops the files directly into rapidleech for quick transloading to filehosts and its awesome. I would love to setup Deluge to do that, but when I set the download directory to /var/www/domain/web/rapidleech it downloads to the right directory just fine, but it creates a parent folder that prevents it from showing in rapidleech. I'm trying to avoid giving out ftp logins to all of my staff and also trying to speed up productivity. I've been a torrent user forever and I realize that on my home machine it has almost always creates a parent folder, but is it possible to completely cut that out on the deluge-webui? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated (and rewarded)

Thanks! :D

If a torrent contains multiple files then they will be contained in a folder so there is nothing special that Deluge is doing. You can rename the top level folder in Deluge to a '.' and it will be removed.
