Deluge 1.3.1 crashes on Slackware 13.1

Post by arslanone »

Hi

My Deluge 1.3.1 crashes randomly after 5 - 10 minutes on Slackware 13.1 (32bit) running on a Dell Intel Core2Duo machine with 2GB RAM. Here is what it spits out:

bash-4.1$ deluge-gtk
python: malloc.c:3951: __libc_valloc: Assertion `!p || ((((mchunkptr)((char*)(p) - 2*(sizeof(size_t)))))->size & 0x2) || ar_ptr == (((((mchunkptr)((char*)(p) - 2*(sizeof(size_t)))))->size & 0x4) ? ((heap_info *)((unsigned long)(((mchunkptr)((char*)(p) - 2*(sizeof(size_t))))) & ~((2 * (512 * 1024))-1)))->ar_ptr : &main_arena)' failed.
Aborted

Any idea what is this?

Thanks.

Looks to be the same as this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/glibc/+bug/490024

Hi

Thanks johnnyg.

I upgraded libtorrent-rasterbar from 0.15.2 to 0.15.5 and the problem seems to be gone. I am using Deluge 1.3.1 for 3 hours and no crash.

Thanks
