Where is the info about config parameters?

Post by simonbcn »

I don't find any manual or guide with the explanation of configuration options. Is there any?

All config files: core.conf, web.conf, web_plugin.conf, etc...

I've installed deluge (from tarball), in a server, without gnome.
I wanted configure it but I couldn't execute deluge-gtk, deluge-web doesn't work in Midori,...
I entered in the webUI from local PC (Firefox) but I couldn't configure it correctly. :?
Finally, I had to execute deluge-gtk from local and now, at last, I can configure deluge.
I think that it should have info about config files to can modify it manually.

Did you try deluge-console?

The webui saving bug is known about and fixed for next release.

You can use deluge-gtk remote as well if you follow the thin-client guide. This is how a lot a users, including myself, have Deluge setup.

Although the config files are human readable, manually changing them could break it.

I looked through the bug tickets but missed it, so started one: http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/ticket/1551

I tried with the v1.3.1 package in debian testing x64, git stable and git master which comes up as 1.3.9. Still had the problem. So guessing the fix isn't in git yet?

Update, got it to work with webui. I knew I missed a step some place.
# Run the Console UI:

deluge-console

# Enable remote connections:

config -s allow_remote True
