webui can't change preferences
webui can't change preferences
I'm running the deluge daemon on a dedicated box and connecting via the webui. right now im on version 1.3.0 but had the same problem on 1.2.2. I have only tried to change speed limits but i would assume other preferences dont work either. i will test this later. I am unable to change speed limits via the preference dialog and the option dialogs for individual torrents. after clicking apply the speeds dont change and refreshing the browser i can see the values go back to what they were previously. I am assuming it is a permissions problem but i do not know what files or directories to change. i changed the perms for core.conf but that didnt seem to help. I am able to add and delete torrents and even delete the data via the webui. I have not found anyone else that has my same problem. after fiddling for a while i was able to to change the upload limit on 1 torrent but then trying to change global speed limits still didnt work and changing download limit for a different individual torrent did not work either. I do seem to remember this working when i first set up my box so maybe this happened during an update. i am using ubuntu 10.04 64bit. Thanks in advance for any help.
Re: webui can't change preferences
numeric values don't change directly, really, it's some glitchdonfrenchiano wrote:I'm running the deluge daemon on a dedicated box and connecting via the webui. right now im on version 1.3.0 but had the same problem on 1.2.2. you have to type wished value(number) and increase it and decrease it back by arrows "up\down"
after that all be alright

Re: webui can't change preferences
How could they even ever release the 1.3.0 Version with this glitch?
Its more than just annoying.

Re: webui can't change preferences
There are?
I mean it worked out perfectly in 1.2.3
But now I can't even see whether my torrent will stop at some share ratio or will be removed. It is hell on earth. I run it on a little Server and manage it via the webui. And I can't do anything right with 1.3.0.
I think I will go back to 1.2.3. It at least worked.
