Can't login to my deluge-web

Hi.
I am running deluge-console, and deluge-web in my ubuntu linux vps.
I can connect to my vps at port 8112 and I do see the webui and all, but when it asks me for a password I supply the correct password but it keeps asking me for the password over and over again.
the password I provide is the default password "deluge" and when I try another password it tells me i have provided the wrong password.
Is it a cookies issue?
If so how do I solve it?

Does the vps have the correct time?

If its clock is behind then the cookies it issues are considered already expired by your browser and hence why it will keep on asking you for the password.

problem solved, I can connect to the webui from any browser except chromium.
i dont know why it does the problem only on chromium though

Did you check that the date/time was up-to-date?
I know that if the date/time is behind, chromium will consider the cookies as expired but firefox won't.
