Hi all,
I've given up trying to get deluge's UMASK function to work, so I just want to run it as my own user - john.
Am I right in thinking that to achieve this, I should just be able to change the DELUGED_USER in my /etc/default/deluge-daemon file?
Kind regards,
Discy

Re: Changing deluge-daemon's user
Er, no, that doesn't work.
Please, please, please can someone help with this? If I don't add the user deluge and install the deluged and deluge-webui, it doesn't even create an auth file... I'm that far away.
Has ANYONE managed to install deluge-daemon and run it as their own user - i.e. any user apart from deluge - and can offer a few pointers? Please?
Yours in desperation,
